What usually causes it

Big glass panels are heavy, and their rollers carry that weight every day. Add salt air and sand and the bearings corrode and flat-spot. The track pits, the panel drops, and everything binds. Locks and handles wear on the same timeline.

How we inspect & repair

1. Test the slide and note where it binds
2. Check roller adjustment and track condition
3. Lift the panel safely with suction tools if needed
4. Replace rollers / service the track / fit lock hardware
5. Re-hang, height-adjust, and confirm the lock lines up
6. You test the door before we finish

Repair or replace the glass door?

Repair wins in most cases — the glass and frame are usually fine. Replacement makes sense mainly when the glass seal has failed on multiple panels or the frame is corroded through. We'll tell you honestly which applies.
